BOOT SCOOTIN' TO TEXAS

2008 AHS CONVENTION (Houston, Texas)

logoAbout 20 members of the Gulf Coast Daylily Society participated in the 2008 AHS Convention, with almost 400 daylily enthusiasts from around the country and around the world in beautiful Houston, Texas.

Several of our members were key leaders for the annual event.

We toured nine gardens in the greater Houston area, received training as garden and exhibition judges, participated in workshops and seminars, voted on annual awards, enjoyed great fellowship and made many new friends.

Our own Bo Bo Faggard won a Convention Award for his Little H. "Little Orange Tex."

H. "Debary Canary" -- won best convention clump
